Since 1972, the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) has been advancing the practice of internal veterinary medicine through the exciting and innovative work of ACVIM Board-certified specialists. The ACVIM is a veterinary specialty college that provides education, residency training and certification of internal medicine specialists (called Diplomates).

The college establishes requirements, evaluates and accredits residency training programs, and handles examinations and certification for veterinarians in five specialties.

VETERINARY STUDENT TRAVEL AWARDS
Five veterinary students will be selected to receive $500 to help offset travel expenses to the 2016 ACVIM Forum. The student travel award winners will be announced on May 2, 2016. If you are chosen as a recipient of a travel award, the funds will be available for pick up with your registration packet.
