ACVIM intends to take photographs and video of this event for use in ACVIM news and promotional material, in print, electronic and other media, including the website. By participating in this event, you grant ACVIM the right to use any image, photograph, voice or likeness, without limitation, in its promotional materials and publicity efforts without compensation. All media become the property of ACVIM. Media may be displayed, distributed or used by ACVIM for any purpose.

ACVIM Code of Conduct

The American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religion (or lack thereof).  The ACVIM expects professional conduct from all participants at all times during its meetings and events and we do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Material, language and/or actions that ridicules, belittles, or degrades an individual or group is unacceptable. Human sexual language and imagery, whether direct or implied, is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, on-site or off-site social events, Facebook and other online media.

If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the ACVIM may take any action it deems appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event without a refund. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, contact an event organizer immediately.

As part of registration for any ACVIM meeting, all participants agree to conduct themselves in a professional manner and abide by this ACVIM Code of Conduct.
