The ACVIM continues to be a thought leader in continuing education, providing a variety of stimulating professional growth opportunities for our members and others within the profession. Courses are available in a variety of formats, ranging from live virtual, on demand and in-person settings. There are many ways to meet your CE needs and explore RACE-approved content that fits your area of expertise.
1) ACVIM, ECVIM-CA, ECVN and ECEIM Diplomates and ACVIM Associates in good standing.
2) ACVIM, ECVIM-CA, ECVN and ECEIM candidates actively pursuing Board-certification (active pursuit is defined as progress towards certification such as participation in a residency program, preparing case reports, writing Board examinations, etc.).
The ACVIM is committed to developing high quality continuing education to meet the needs of our constituents, both online and in-person offerings. Below is a current list of our upcoming course offerings.
This 2.5-day virtual course is now offered at your own pace with 20 hours of CE credit available. Focusing on advances in companion animal endocrinology, topics covered include the management of dogs and cats with diabetes mellitus, including patients with ketoacidosis; monitoring methods for dogs with hyperdrenocorticism; and medical and dietary therapy for hyperlipidemia. Registration is open.
On demand courses are hosted in ACVIM’s online learning system ACVIM Online, powered by VetBloom.
Individual access has been provided to enrolled participants via email or log in using your ACVIM.org username and password. You will be taken to your Learner Dashboard where any course you are enrolled in will show in the Current Learning section.
VIRTUAL AND ON DEMAND
REGISTER NOW! This 2-day virtual course will focus on updates in pathophysiology, diagnostic and treatment strategies for small animal infectious diseases relevant to the small animal internal medicine specialist. Is self-paced learning more your style? This course will also be available on demand following the live virtual course.
