Veterinary Technician Specialists (VTS) certified through the Academy of Internal Medicine for Veterinary Technicians (AIMVT) are highly trained, credentialed veterinary technicians who play an integral part on the Veterinary Healthcare Team. AIMVT VTS have pursued advanced knowledge and clinical skills in the fields of Cardiology, Large Animal Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, and Small Animal Internal Medicine. Demonstrating a level of expertise that directly enhances patient care and supports the work of the attending veterinarian. Technicians who hold the VTS (Nutrition) credential are certified through the Academy of Veterinary Nutrition Technicians (AVNT).
