Town Hall virtual meetings connect ACVIM Diplomates with ACVIM leadership and staff on a variety of topics throughout the year.
During the 2024 Certification Town Hall, the ACVIM Certification Council and staff leaders reported on exam updates, results, and future priorities, then split into specialty breakout rooms for specialty-specific certification updates.

During the 2023 Certification Town Hall, the ACVIM Certification Liaison, our testing partner, Prometric, member and staff leaders reported on the exam redevelopment process and dedicated time to open Q&A with attendees.
During the Oncology Specialty Town Hall, Specialty President Dr. Chad Johannes invited all Oncology Diplomates to hear updates and discuss issues within the college prior to the 2023 ACVIM Forum.
During the 2023 ACVIM Annual Business Meeting, a virtual, college-wide town hall, the ACVIM leadership and staff reported out on the current state of ACVIM, upcoming initiatives and annual report findings, with dedicated time for Q&A.
During this Certification Town Hall, ACVIM leadership team discussed past challenges to the examination development and administration process as well as updates to the process currently underway. Half of the hour was dedicated to Q&A and feedback

This town hall was led by the ACVIM Transformation Task Force, which provided updates regarding the formation of a Certification Council and left time open to engage in conversation and address any questions or concerns.
During this Certification Town Hall, ACVIM leadership reviewed updates to the examination development and administration process and explained how we are incorporating the newest standards in exam development as the basis for this work. There was
also time for Q&A at the end of the presentation.
