During the 2023 ACVIM Annual Business Meeting, a virtual, college-wide town hall, the ACVIM leadership and staff reported out on the current state of ACVIM, upcoming initiatives and annual report findings, with dedicated time for Q&A.

During this Certification Town Hall, ACVIM leadership team discussed past challenges to the examination development and administration process as well as updates to the process currently underway. This town hall was led by the ACVIM Transformation Task Force, which provided updates regarding the formation of a Certification Council and left time open to engage in conversation and address any questions or concerns.

This inaugural town hall was led by Dr. Harold McKenzie, ACVIM President, and Dr. Linda Fineman, ACVIM Chief Executive Officer. The agenda covered important priorities that will support the organization's growth trajectory and ensure our ongoing ability to thrive, including:

• A presentation from the Membership Committee reporting survey findings on a refreshed member value proposition.
• A progress update on the of due diligence being conducted to add the American College of Veterinary Nutrition (ACVN) as the sixth specialty of the ACVIM.
• A live Q&A session, where members had the opportunity to ask questions.
