Course Overview
This advanced 2-day live virtual course will explore the most current and clinically relevant advances in veterinary nephrology and urology. Sessions will integrate recent research with practical applications in chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and lower urinary tract disorders. Topics include FGF-23 and phosphate management, renal biomarkers, microbiome, regenerative medicine, and interventional urology. Interactive panel discussions will allow participants to engage directly with internationally recognized experts and translate cutting-edge insights into practice.

By the end of the course, you will be able to:
- Apply current evidence on FGF-23, phosphate balance, and nutritional strategies to manage and slow CKD progression.
- Incorporate novel biomarkers such as cystatin B to improve early detection and monitoring of AKI.
- Evaluate therapeutic applications of regenerative medicine, hemoperfusion, and plasma exchange in renal and immune-mediated diseases.
- Update diagnostic and treatment approaches for sporadic UTIs and recurrent UTIs within an antimicrobial stewardship framework.
- Update diagnostic and treatment approaches for feline idiopathic cystitis
- Implement best practices for SUB placement, maintenance, and client counseling in feline urolithiasis and obstruction.
