Member Assistance Program

This ACVIM-sponsored benefit offers the support and resources you need to address personal or work-related challenges and concerns. It’s confidential and free to ACVIM Candidates, Diplomates and their household family members and is provided in partnership with MYgroup, an independent provider of MAP services.

What services does the MAP offer?

Assessment and counseling is available 24/7 through a toll-free number. When you and your family members call the MAP, you are offered a face-to-face, virtual or telephonic counseling session in which a thorough assessment can be conducted by a licensed, experienced clinician in your area. You have the option of using BetterHelp for your virtual sessions. 

There's no enrollment required, which means you're eligible to start using the MAP today! The ACVIM covers all expenses for this program, so there's no cost to you for your phone calls or face-to-face visits.
