Dynamic compensation and benefits data for specialty veterinary medicine.

Background

In the third quarter of 2024, the ACVIM Membership Committee focused its efforts on developing a veterinary specialty compensation and benefits benchmarking survey in partnership with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) and guided by the expertise of Dynamic Benchmarking.

Compensation and benefits data collected via the survey will be aggregated and available for ACVIM and ABVP members to access via a dynamic reporting dashboard later in 2025 after data collection concludes. Called the Specialty VetMed Compensation Compass, this dashboard will be the first of its kind for veterinary specialty medicine and will provide valuable insights on salary and overall compensation for the field.

The dashboard is now available to those who completed the survey
