Free Online Support Groups for Veterinary Specialists
The ACVIM is proud to partner with the Veterinary Hope Foundation (VHF) to provide small group support sessions tailored to our members.

Summary
Each Veterinary Hope Foundation support group is facilitated by a trained professional and will meet online for six weeks, with the goal to offer participants an opportunity to connect in a safe, confidential, and caring space and establish an ongoing conversation with peers.
October 2023 Support Groups
- ACVIM Veterinary Specialists - Parents Support Group: support for veterinary specialists struggling with balancing raising children and veterinary medicine. Meets for six weeks starting Wednesday, Oct. 4 @ 7:30 pm CT
- Veterinarians - Grief & Loss Support Group: intended to offer support for veterinarians experiencing personal grief and loss. Meets for six weeks starting Thursday, Oct. 26 @ 7:00 pm CT
November 2023 Support Groups
- ACVIM Veterinary Specialists - Early Career Support Group: support for veterinary specialists in the early career stages of veterinary medicine. Meets for six weeks starting Thursday, Nov. 2 @ 7:00 pm CT
- ACVIM Veterinary Specialists - Late Career Support Group: support for veterinary specialists nearing or in retirement and in the later career stages of veterinary medicine. Meets for six weeks starting Tuesday, Nov. 7 @ 7:00 pm CT
