  • LAIM Credentials Applications for the 2026 Specialty Exam are due online by July 1, 2025. Credentials submission/approval is a prerequisite for sitting the Specialty Exam.
  • LAIM Residency Training Overview Forms (for those not submitting Credentials) are due online by July 1, 2025
  • LAIM Specialty Exam &/or General Exam registrations are due online by October 1, 2025
  • LAIM Clinical Writing Assessments can be submitted at any time

LAIM Clinic Writing Assessments (CWA)


If your LAIM Residency Training Program (RTP) ended before March 25, 2025, and you haven’t completed your Case Report or Clinical Writing Assessment (CWA) Requirement, you are still required to complete the CWA Requirement.
(Residents enrolled in an RTP as of March 25, 2025—or starting one later—are exempt from the CWA Requirement as of July 1, 2025.)
